Terms of Service
Last updated: April 21, 2026
These are the rules for using Nimea. They're written in plain language, short by design, and meant to protect both of us. If any of this is unclear, email hello@nimea.app and we'll clarify.
Who we are
Nimea is made by Wolf Codes (operating under TheWolfCodes), based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. "We" and "Nimea" refer to this entity throughout.
What Nimea is
Nimea is a personal habit-tracking iOS application. You use it to record habits, track completions, log mood, and (optionally) run Focus Lock sessions against distracting apps. It is a self-help tool, not medical or therapeutic software. If you are dealing with a mental health crisis, please seek qualified professional help.
Your account
- You need an account (email + password, or Sign in with Apple) to use Nimea beyond anonymous onboarding.
- You must be at least 13 (or the digital consent age in your country, whichever is higher).
- You're responsible for keeping your login secure. We won't ask for your password by email or DM. Ever.
- You can delete your account from inside the app. Deletion is immediate in the UI; backend cleanup completes within 30 days.
What you can do
You can use Nimea for your personal habit-building. You own the habits, completions, notes, mood entries, and journal entries you create. We take no ownership of your data.
What you can't do
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise try to extract our source code from the app binary.
- Use Nimea to harass, harm, or violate the rights of anyone else.
- Bypass the free-tier habit limits or Pro paywall through technical means.
- Scrape, mass-copy, or redistribute Nimea's proprietary content (affirmations library, science references, UI copy).
- Resell access to Nimea or your Nimea account.
Subscriptions & payment
Nimea offers a free tier (up to 5 habits, forever) and a Pro subscription. Pro is billed through Apple's App Store under Apple's standard subscription terms:
- Payments go to Apple, not to us. Refund requests go through reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before renewal.
- You can manage or cancel in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
- If we change prices, we notify you in-app before the change takes effect.
Beta testers
If you joined Nimea through the Founder Tester program, your account is granted Pro access for a limited period (3 months from App Store launch, contingent on meeting the 5-day activation gate during beta). The grant is a thank-you gesture, not an obligation — we may adjust duration if we discover abuse or bug exploitation. Normal Pro terms apply after the grant period expires.
AI features
Some features (AI habit suggestions, journal follow-ups, Habit Autopsy coaching after a miss) send text you've written to Anthropic's Claude API. These features are optional — you can use the entire app without ever triggering them. The AI's output is advisory; don't treat it as professional advice (medical, legal, financial, or otherwise).
Availability & changes
We aim for Nimea to be available whenever you need it, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. If we make a material change to the app (removing a paid feature, changing data handling) we'll notify you in-app at least 14 days before the change.
Liability
Nimea is provided as-is. We're a small team building with care, but we can't promise zero bugs or perfect outcomes. To the extent allowed by law, our liability for any claim related to Nimea is capped at the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months (or CAD $100 if you're a free-tier user). This doesn't apply if local consumer-protection law gives you stronger rights.
If we disagree
First, email hello@nimea.app — most things resolve without drama. If we can't work it out, any formal dispute goes through the courts of British Columbia, Canada, under BC law. This doesn't limit any consumer-protection rights you have under your own country's law.
Termination
You can stop using Nimea and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms (spam, abuse, bypassing paywalls); we'll explain why if we do.
Changes to these terms
We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top and — for material changes — send a note in-app and to your sign-up email. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy covers what we collect and how we handle it. It's short. Read it.
